ABOUT THE ORU MASK COMPANY

Where It All Started

We are so excited to introduce The Oru Mask Company. Our background is in furniture construction and textiles, and we had been preparing to introduce a new line of unique fabrics and furniture designs in March. Then COVID-19 changed all that, causing a number of our resources to slow down or shut down entirely.

Necessity is the mother of invention, they say, so we decided to take the research and development we poured into the new furniture line into a collection of professionally made, high-quality masks. We knew that there was a dire need for masks, but we also knew that there were a lot of cheap masks out there that were not comfortable, didn't fit and didn't look very good. Why not put our fabric, printing capability and sewing machines to a good use?

Over the past two months, we've made about two dozen prototypes, testing them out on friends and relatives. In the process, we have donated over 200 masks to health-care facilities, charitable organizations, and individuals in need.  We intend to continue this tradition as our company grows by donating one mask for every one sold.  

We're very happy to say that we think we have the perfect mask. It's comfortable, fits a wide range of sizes, can be folded up to fit nicely into a purse or pocket, and it looks great!  The look of the mask can be customized to fit corporate or personal taste--we are equipped to print logos, photographs, artwork and the like onto the front panel of our Oru Mask.  Your  Oru Mask can truly reflect your personality and values.
